are a non-political, community-elected community organisation
formed in 1980 to actively work to protect and improve the unique
environment and lifestyle of the Bayswater peninsula. In July
2009 BCC became an incorporated society.
Executive which manages the BCC's affairs is elected every two
years at a public meeting. The Executive meets every two months
to discuss local concerns, determine appropriate responses to
local issues, and organised community events. We make both informal
and formal representations to the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board,
Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and other organisations to
ensure the voice of Bayswater residents and ratepayers is heard.
