Connecting Auckland’s CBD with Devonport is a regular and usually very reliable ferry service. The ferries run every half-hour and every 15 minutes at peak times. With the ferry journey only 12-15 minutes long, you can quickly pop over for lunch or dinner, though most visitors spend the day in Devonport. Because the Waitemata harbour is so scenic, the trip will often seem even shorter!
Ferries depart from Pier 1 on the city side and arrive at Devonport wharf, situated at the bottom of Victoria Road, the main shopping thoroughfare of the village.
