The Devonport Community House has been serving the community since 1979. Programmes, activities, meetings, events and community get-togethers ensures there is plenty for the community to do.

Hall – Accommodates up to 150. 50 Chairs and 12 tables available. $30 per hour for private parties/events. This includes tables, chairs and kitchen facilities. $22 per hour for not for profit events.

Counselling Room/Meeting room – Accommodates up to 6. $17 per hour.

Meeting Room/ Small workshops – Accommodates up to 10 $17 per hour
Children’s Art Room – Accommodates up to 15 $17 per hour
Large Workshop – Accommodates up to 30 $17 per hour for not-for-profit. $20 for commercial use.

All areas are wheelchair accessible.

After School Club (3pm to 6pm)
Devonport Community House runs an after school club for children from Devonport, Vauxhall, St Leo’s Stanley Bay and Belmont schools.

We pick up children from school, provide afternoon tea, help with homework, organise games, go to parks and do other fun activities from 3-6pm for 5-13 yr olds. All staff are police-checked, trained and passionate about bringing the best programme to the House.

The Devonport Community House Van is used to pick up seniors in the Community on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am. Nicky will pick you up and drop you down to New World Devonport and assist you, if required. Then drive you home again. This service is offered to the elderly community for a donation.
